DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES??

Dr. Modi is well known to our family for having solved many health issues. This time around, we came to her mid-2013 with a crisis situation.

Despite constantly trying for a child, we were unable to conceive. Further medical investigations revealed that I was suffering from a severe male infertility issue and my counts were too low to conceive naturally. My wife also had PCOS, metabolic syndrome, and a thin UT lining. Our gynecologist suggested trying through IVF / ICSI and that seemed to be the only option.

We decided to go through an IVF Cycle and came to Dr. Modi somewhere in the middle of the cycle just to try and support the process. Looking at the graphs and medical reports, she was skeptical and said that my wife’s body was not in the best state to support the IVF. We were already mid-way through the process and it was difficult to quit. Needless to say, the cycle failed. We were devastated and felt miserable.

IVF treatments are very expensive; they run into a few lacs per cycle. Due to the hormones pumped into my wife’s body, she was putting on weight along with multiple other side effects and was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. It was difficult emotionally, physically as well as financially to do another IVF cycle but we were desperate and decided to go for the second cycle.

At this time, Dr. Modi sat us down. She spoke to us and calming us down advised to skip the IVF. She requested to give her 3 months to sort out our bodies. She seemed very positive and confident and we didn’t have many options so we decided to wait. We were both asked to regularly come for acupuncture 3 times a week and we followed.

Something right was happening. My wife seemed to be in a better mood and a lot more positive. We started to lose weight and were a lot more hopeful. She insisted that we stay positive and focus on being happy and we tried to be as positive as we could. After about 1.5-2 months of treatment, based on my wife’s cycle, she asked us to try naturally.

And guess what ?? To our wonder and surprise, my wife conceived. I still find it hard to believe and so does our gynecologist. My wife is 6 months pregnant. We are going to have a baby!! Naturally!! It’s simply unbelievable.

THIS IS NOTHING SHORT OF A MIRACLE AND DR. MODI IS NOTHING SHORT OF AN ANGEL. WE OWE HER OUR LIVES AND EVERY SMILE ON OUR FACES!! WE WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL.
